SAFARI DIVES

Safari dive trips to the surrounding uninhabited islands leave the Dive Centre daily at 08:30am, returning at 01:30pm and will continue at 03:30pm till 06:30pm.
Tioman Island offers world-class dive sites that should not be missed. There are many diving locations that offer a variety of conditions suitable for the beginner through to the advanced diver. Depth ranges from 6 to 30 meters and the terrain varies from shallow coral gardens to magnificent volcanic landscapes. With a balmy water temperature of 30 degree all year round and excellent visibility of 20 meters, the dive sites are filled with soft and hard coral that provides shelter to the reef fishes who are vying for attention by showing off their psychedelic colours.

We will take you on a visit to different locations everyday and no same sites are the same.

All dives are led by DiveAsia’s team of professionals.

Names like Pulau Chebeh, Pulau Labas, Magicienne Rock, Tiger Reef have been whispered in the International Arena.

Adventure dives are from one of DiveAsia’s fleet of customised diveboats.

PADI TEC REC 40 Course

What You Learn
• Technical diving’s risks and responsibilities.
• Technical diving equipment, proper rigging and set up.
• Gas planning, oxygen limits and decompression planning.
• Team diving techniques and emergency procedures, such as dealing with free flows, manifold leaks and out of gas situations.

Prerequisites
To take this course, you must be

• A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• A PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• A PADI Deep Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• Have a minimum of 30 logged dives, of which at least 10 dives were made with enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres / 60 feet.
• Have a medical form signed by your physician

What You Learn
• Use decompression software and dive computers to plan and make decompression dives with no more than 10 minutes of total decompression and not deeper than 40 metres/130 feet.
• Use a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 50 percent oxygen (EANx50) to add conservatism to the required decompression.

Prerequisites
To take this course, you must be
• A PADI Tec 40 Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, of which at least 12 dives were made with enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres / 60 feet & 6 dives (with or without EANx) dives were deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.
• Have a medical form signed by your physician

What Your Learn
A primary focus of this course is mission planning and execution. You also learn more about handling emergencies and how to think like a technical diver.

Prerequisites
• A PADI Tec 45 Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• Have a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 20 dives were made with enriched air deeper than 18 metres / 60 feet & 15 dives (with or without EANx) dives were deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.
• Have a medical form signed by your physician.

What Your Learn
You’ll learn about the advantages of diving with a sidemount configuration and how to set up a tec sidemount harness where you’ll start with two tanks and add at least two more, maybe even getting to six sidemounted cylinders.

Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Tec Sidemount Diver course, you must

• A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• A PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• Have logged 30 or more dives.
• 18 years old and above.

What Your Learn
This course will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers.

You’ll learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes.

To enroll in the PADI Tec Gas Blender course, you must

• A PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).

PADI PROFESSIONAL

PADI Divemaster Course

• A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• A PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
• An Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (or qualifying first aid and CPR training from another organization) course completion within the past 24 months.
• Have at least 40 dives to begin the course and 60 for certification
•Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF) signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

PADI Instructor Development Course

• Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or a PADI Assistant Instructor or be an instructor in good standing with another training organization for at least six months
• Be certified as an Emergency First Response Instructor
• Have 60 logged dives that include experience in night, deep and navigation diving to participate in the Instructor Development Course. You’ll need 100 logged dives to take the Instructor Exams
• Have proof of CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months. The Emergency First Response course meets this requirement
• Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF) signed by a physician within the last 12 months

PADI RECREATIONAL
PADI Open Water Diver Course

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.

Learning to dive is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, you’ll make at least five pool dives and four dives at local dive sites under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.

Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must

• Be 10 years or older (PADI eLearning requires an extra registration step for students under 13 years due to international internet laws.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you in ease your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water.

This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Prerequisites
To take this course, you must be

• A PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
• 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver).

Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, how to manage them if they occur and gives your the confidence to respond to medical emergencies.

Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must

• Be 12 years or older
• Have a PADI Adventure Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
• Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Ask your instructor about Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses).

Master Scuba Diver

Master Scuba Diver is PADI’s highest non professional recreational diving certification.
To become a Master Scuba Diver you need to complete PADI Open Water Diver, Advanced, Rescue and five Speciality Courses. Our qualified PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer fully equipped and ready to teach you the specialty courses which will take you all the way to Master Scuba Diver!

A PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centre (Five Star IDC) not only meets all PADI Five Star Dive Centre standards, but also meets additional training standards required to offer PADI Instructor-level training.
